John Canada, President & Owner
After previously working in the yacht industry for over 25 years as a naval architect and yacht salesman, Ocean5 Yacht Sales Was born in 2021. While Mr. Canada is a naval architect first and foremost, the synergy between specialized yacht construction knowledge and yacht sales is naturally complimentary.
John and Chuck have a long history of working together at Whiticar in the early 2000's & following many projects, happy customers & trusting colleagues followed.John's passion for boating and being on the water is shared with identifying construction details from a builder's perspective & connecting professionals who are the best at what they do.

Chuck Mack, Senior Yacht Broker
Living outside Philadelphia Chuck Mack spent most of his summers on the Jersey Shore fishing and learning to waterski at the age of 5. After College Chuck settled in Ocean City, NJ and worked for his dad in the family office furniture business in Philadelphia commuting for 14 years.
Boating was always a passion for Chuck, in 1990 he moved to Florida to get into the boating industry. Chuck started with Southeast Florida Yacht sales and after 14 years opened the Brokerage for Whiticar boat works. Sixteen years later the company was sold, and his path led him to Ocean5 Yacht Sales & Ocean5 Naval Architects. Chuck’s long career has let him sell custom boats to center consoles. Prestige, Performance, and Excellence is what Chuck stands behind.

David Tate, Yacht sales
Growing up in Oregon, David’s family did a lot of sailing. His first boat was a Sunfish which he sailed on many lakes and did a lot of river jet boating while fishing for salmon and trout.Moving to Vero Beach, Fl in 2000 with his family he wanted to get into the boat business, so David started at the local Grady-White dealer as a dockhand. David remained at Vero Marine Center for three years learning as much as possible. From there he moved across the river to Hal Jones & Co the local pursuit and Grand Banks dealer where he concentrated on Pursuit sales and brokerage.
After 2008 Hal Jones was sold and David then got an opportunity to manage the Marina at Marsh Island for the past 13 years while doing Yacht brokerage with Whiticar Yacht until his recent move to Ocean5 Yacht Sales. David is very conscientious before, during and after the sale.Let David find your next boat.

George Pace, Yacht sales
Previous to joining our team George Pace served in the U.S Navy from 1966 to 1970. He is a Vietnam Combat Veteran. George graduated from Mercy College with a degree in Finance and Marketing. George then ran a successful Marine Canvas & Yacht Interior company in New York which he sold in 2011 after 35 years of serving the Marine community, in and around the Long Island sound area of Westchester and county NY and Fairfield County Conn.
